City to get advanced Cancer Research hospital

A new Cancer Research Hospital will be set up in Kolkata's Rajarhat area will all the modern facilities in an area of 550 acres. The central government will provide the ninety percent of the amount while remaining ten percent will be provided by state government.  The total of Rs 563 crore will be spend on the project whose soil testing and registration has already been completed. Central health minister for state Sudip Bandyopadhyay said that once the central government give the green signal state government will led the foundation stone of the hospital. He further mentioned that the hospital will come up within 2.5 years.
