CM & Left leaders together paid homage to Netaji on his 116th Birthday

Minister Mamata Banerjee gave another example of courteousness as she
paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Red Road on eve of his
116th birthday all together with the left leaders Ashok Ghosh, Biman
Bose, Khiti Goswami etc. Siren was played exactly at 12:15 pm the time
when Netaji was born. Apart from the left leaders all Trinamool leaders,
cabinet ministers including finance minister Amit Mitra and others were
also present in the program and paid homage by garlanding the Netaji
statue. A cultural program was organized there along with the guard of
honour and parade by Kolkata police in the presence of Police
Commissioner RK Pachnanda who also garlanded the Netaji statue. Then the
program ends up with the playing of national anthem by Kolkata Police
band.
